As a church, we want to honor the command to gather together (Hebrews 10:25), taking time to worship our God as one body in many ways. We take time as a church family to worship through song, through the teaching of God's Word, through prayer, and through sharing in Communion with one another.

Missional Communities

Following Jesus. Together.

A Church Scattered

Since the church is not a specific location or meeting time but the global, collective identity of every Christian, we must be primarily about scattering into the world to engage it with the good news of the Gospel. Our vehicles for engaging our context are Missional Communities.

We believe a Missional Community is a family of missionaries who are dedicated to make disciples who make disciples.

MCs are where we gather together, worship, and submit to Jesus in all of life. As our MCs grow, they will multiply into new MCs that will then be able to reach into a new context with the good news of Jesus. Through this multiplied expression of the body of Christ, we seek to be the church in Cypress, TX.

If you are interested in visiting an MC, please fill out the form below and we'll send you information on times and locations!

Kids Point

Growing in the Gospel.

OUR VISION

Kids Point exists simply to teach kids to love and follow Jesus.

We want our kids to know how simple the Gospel is so they can live life with purpose and be a light to others. If we make much of Jesus and teach our kids to do the same, they will have a firm foundation on which to stand.

OUR MISSION

In Kids Point, our mission is for kids to experience the joy of the Gospel and grow in Christ as they discover truths about God, His Word, His Son, and His Love.

We partner with parents to build a Gospel-centered, spiritual foundation for their children's lives.

OUR VALUES

  • Biblical, Gospel-Centered Curriculum
  • Scripture-focused small group experience
  • Safe, engaging, and age-appropriate teaching environment

We currently use The Gospel Project Kids curriculum. More information here.

Kids Point serves children from age 2 months to 5th grade.

THE GOSPEL PROJECT

At Bridge Point, we believe the Bible tells a story—one story. It isn't simply a collection of stories with moral principles, but one great narrative about how God, through Jesus, is bringing healing and redemption to this world. We are dedicated to sharing this story with your kids. Through both the Old and New Testaments, we see glimpses of the person and work of Jesus along the way. The Gospel Project brings this great story to life and shows how the Bible isn't about us, but about Jesus and what he has done on our behalf.

DECEMBER CULTIVATE

A VERY MERRY WOMEN’s gift exchange

Bible + Brunch is a gathering of women to grow together through the Word of God, prayer, discussion, and fellowship with one another. We pray that this gathering is an avenue for women to form relationships as well as be encouraged and exhorted through the time shared together.

Our next gathering is Saturday December 8th from 11AM - 1PM.

Doors open at 10:45, Brunch will begin at 11:05 and the exchange will begin at approximately 11:30.

We’re so excited for this special Cultivate event. Not only will we enjoy Bible + Brunch together, but we’ll also have Olive + Willis there to lead us in a special time of Christmas Worship. But the fun doesn’t stop there! We’ll also participate in a fun, slightly competitive, gift exchange, enjoy friendship and celebrate the Advent season together. We hope that you’ll join us and consider bringing a friend! For those bringing a friend, your names will go in a hat for a fun door prize!

IMPORTANT GIFT EXCHANGE DETAILS!

If you want to participate, please bring 5 unwrapped gifts. Your 5 gift items should be all the same type (may be different colors, sizes, etc), and you can make, bake or purchase these items. It’s a great opportunity for you to share your skills/talents with each other in giving unique gifts. Some women love to bake. Some love to make. Some love to buy. You are free to bring whatever they’re inspired to make, bake or buy. Your items could be hand-crafted (earrings, decor, sewn items etc), baked goods (who doesn’t love a good cookie?), or something you’ve picked up from Target. While you’re considering the gifts that you’ll bring, think of bringing items that you would like to take home. We do ask that your items are valued at no less than $5, but please be as generous as you feel led (if bringing gifts is a strain on you financially, please contact Christie at christie@bridgepointcc.org. We do not want this to hinder you from participating and celebrating with us!). Please, also, bring a gift of at least $5 cash. Your gift will go towards supporting one of our Bridge Point families!

So how does this thing work?

When you check-in at the table upon entering Gathering Point, you’ll receive a name-tag with a specific color, indicating what “shopping” group you’ll be in. You’ll take your items over to the gift tables where one of our hostess’ will be organizing the space. At this time, feel free to peruse the items, looking out for those you want to snatch up!

Once all the women have arrived and have partaken of the delicious array of homemade eats, we’ll begin the exchange! Our moderator begins the exchange by calling each color group one at a time and giving each group one minute to shop the gift tables. Every color group gets the same amount of chances to shop, but won’t necessarily shop in the same order each round.

When we’ve experienced the joy and celebration of giving and receiving gifts, we’'ll gather for a time of worship together and reflect on our greatest gift, our Savior’s life, death and resurrection. We’ll devote some time to pondering what it means to behold the goodness and grace of Jesus and His promised return to deliver us from our broken bodies and this beautiful, broken world. We’ll close our time together in prayer and taking up an offering.

Ready to join? Please fill out the form below to let us know you’ll be joining us!

Our heart for women is that we grow together in and through the Gospel by exploring and applying God's truth, goodness and beauty. We seek to discover these things not only about the Father, but also to become aware of how His truth, goodness and beauty are cultivated in our own lives. When reminded of who we are in Jesus, we are free to live out the Gospel in His fullness.
